On Sunday, 28 Saratan, the European Union wrote on the platform X that it had jointly visited a midwife-managed maternity care center in Logar province with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).<\/p>\n
The European Union added that the center operates with financial support from the EU, and trained midwives provide safe services for mothers and newborns there.<\/p>\n
Providing prenatal healthcare and care during childbirth are among the measures that can help reduce maternal and newborn mortality.<\/p>\n
