Blast in Kandahar, Kandahar governor’s secretary was killed.
Security sources in Kandahar province say that the secretary of the governor of Kandahar province was killed after a magnetic bomb exploded in the city. The person killed was Mansour Ahmad.
Jamal Naser Barakzai, spokesman for Kandahar Police Command, said the incident took place at around 2:00 pm today, Sunday, 4. July, in the 14th district of Kandahar.
Mr Barakzai also said that the car carrying the governor’s secretary had been targeted in the incident.
No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
