Dawa Khan Minapal, Head of Afghan government media department assassinated by Taliban
Mirwais Stanekzai; Spokesman for the Ministry of Interior(MoI)said that Minapal was killed at noon on Friday, August 6, in the 7th district of Kabul.
Further details on Mr. Minhopal’s assassination have not yet been released.
Zabihullah Mojahed, spokesman for taliban claimed responsibility for the attack and tweeted that Minapal had been killed in a special attack on Darul Aman Road.
Minapal has previously served as Vice Presidential Spokesperson.
He took over as head of the government’s information and media center a few months ago.
