The closure of educational centers and number of public centers was extended for another 2 weeks.

The Ministry of Public Health says that in order to prevent further spread of the coronavirus, the quarantine proposal in 16 provinces of the country has been approved by the President for another two weeks.

Ghulam Dastgir Nazari, a spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health, reported to Shahed News Agency that all private and public education and higher education centers, wedding halls, swimming pools, and sports centers are included in quarantine.

Mr. Nazari said that restaurants are not allowed to receive more than 10 guests indoors, and outdoor restaurants can accommodate citizens by observing social distance.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Health announced yesterday that 56 Covid-19 patients died last night and 1,582 new cases were identified overnight.
This figure is unprecedented after the outbreak of coronavirus in the country.
