Ghani and Abdullah will leave for the United States on Friday.

The White House has announced that President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah, chairman of the Supreme National Reconciliation Council, will travel to United States on Friday.

White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Ghani and Abdullah would meet with US President Joe Biden on June 25.

The talks focused on lasting cooperation between Afghanistan and the United States after withdrawal of US troops.
White House spokesperson said the United States is committed to supporting the Afghan people through diplomatic, economic, and humanitarian assistance to protect the human rights of Afghan women, girls, and minorities.
