25 Memorandums of Understanding Signed Between Afghan and Kazakh Private Sectors
The Taliban say that 25 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) have been signed between the private sectors of Afghanistan and Kazakhstan to strengthen trade cooperation.
According to the Taliban’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the agreements, announced on Sunday, cover the import and export of medicines, wheat, flour, edible oil, as well as banking cooperation.
The ministry said the MoUs were signed during the Afghan-Kazakh Business Forum held in Kabul.
The announcement follows the arrival of a Kazakh delegation in Kabul on Saturday.
Amid ongoing tensions with Pakistan, the Taliban have increasingly sought to expand political and economic ties with Central Asian countries.
